Voltarol, also known as Voltaren in various countries, contains diclofenac. This active ingredient belongs to the group of medicines called Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs). The medicines that belong to this group all reduce pain and inflammation. Voltarol Retard Tablets and SR Tablets are specially formulated to release diclofenac slowly.
