What are the contents of Hydroxychloroquine?

The active ingredient in hydroxychloroquine is hydroxychloroquine sulfate. Each tablet of 200mg contains hydroxychloroquine sulfate. Other ingredients are lactose monohydrate, maize starch, magnesium stearate, polypovidone, hypromellose, macrogol and titanium dioxide (E171).

When should I not use Hydroxychloroquine?

You should not use hydroxychloroquine when:

• You are allergic (hypersensitive) to: hydroxychloroquine or other similar medicines such as quinolones and quinine.
• You have an eye problem which affects the retina, the inside of the eye (maculopathy) or you get a change in eye color or any other eye problem.
