Why use the Mini pill instead of a regular pill?
The mini pill can be used by women who can’t use contraception that contains oestrogen, for example because they have high blood pressure, previous blood clots or are overweight.
The mini pill is also used by women who cannot use the regular pill because they are at risk of blood clots for being over 35 and smoking.
Cerazette pill side effects
Like other forms of birth control, Cerazette has several side effects. These side effects have been determined safe when Cerazette was approved. Common side effects may include headaches, breast pain, mood changes, irregular bleeding and weight gain.
