Cyclo-Progynova

Cyclo-Progynova belongs to a group of medicines called Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). Cyclo-Progynova substitutes the lack of oestrogen in women during the menopause. It relieves menopausal symptoms as hot face and flushes. In addition to estradiol, the oestrogen hormone in Cyclo-Progynova, it also contains norgestrel a progestogen hormone. A result of oestrogen is that it can make the lining of the womb grow more than usual, which may lead to cervical cancer. Norgestrel prevents this from happening.
