Clarithromycin

Clarithromycin is a marcolide antibiotic. It slows down the growth of certain bacteria which cause infections.

• Used for treating: gonorrhoea, skin infections, pneumonia.
• Tablets: swallow tablets whole with at least half a glass of water.
• Course: usually takes 5 – 14 days.
