Ciprofloxacin
Ciprofloxacin is used to treat bacterial infections and is a quinolone antibiotic. It stops the growth of and kills bacteria. Ciprofloxacin is not used in the treatment of virus infections.
- Used for treating: gonorrhoea, cystitis, (travellers’) diarrhoea, other bacterial infections
- Tablets: swallow tablets whole with half a glass of water.
